Workplace Harassment Prevention course
What this course covers
Harassment in the workplace is not always obvious, and that is part of the problem. This course goes beyond the headline cases to give employees and managers a grounded understanding of what harassment actually looks like, what the law requires organizations to do about it, and how to respond when something comes up.
It covers the legal definition of harassment and what behaviors fall within it, protected characteristics and how they apply, the difference between harassment and bullying, bystander responsibility, how to report concerns and what happens when you do, manager responsibilities and what good prevention looks like in practice, and what organizations are required to have in place to demonstrate compliance.
Who it's for
Organizations of any size, in any sector, anywhere in the world. Harassment law and workplace conduct standards vary by jurisdiction but the core obligations on employers are consistent across most markets. This course is suitable for all employees and has a specific manager-level component covering responsibilities and response procedures.
Why it matters
Harassment law is getting stricter. In the UK, the Employment Rights Act 2025 is raising the standard from "reasonable steps" to "all reasonable steps" to prevent harassment, and introducing direct employer liability for harassment by third parties, including clients and customers. Similar tightening is happening across other jurisdictions. Organizations that cannot demonstrate they have trained their teams are increasingly exposed, both legally and reputationally.
